In this four-week course, you will explore research-based approaches for creating a successful hybrid teaching and learning experience. Topics of focus will include course design basics, common hybrid teaching models, methods for making the most of your class time, leveraging your learning management system to create an innovative and engaging student experience, and replicating formerly face-to-face experiences in an online classroom.
This course is offered through our eThink Academy Moodle(TM) platform where you will have the opportunity to create your own sandbox course where you can apply the concepts discussed as well as the various sitewide tools for creating a hybrid environment. Additionally, we will host a weekly, live webinar to discuss and reinforce course concepts, share ideas and questions, and create a strong community. Weekly webinars will be recorded with links to those recordings provided in the course. You will have access to the course and your sandbox course for thirty days after the conclusion of the course. Badges and certificates are earned by completing course work.

Each weekly webinar session is recorded in the event you are unable to attend the live sessions. Participants can expect to spend approximately 2-4 hours per week between the webinars engaging with the supporting content and activities.
